Sia's bunny-inspired bedroom is finally complete, and I couldn't be happier. If you'd like to see the whole progress, you can follow these links

How to install peel-and-stick wallpaper

I initially thought it would only take me a few weeks to finish the room, but life got in the way, and it took me much longer. I've learned many new skills, from painting the ceiling for the first time with a roller, removing old shelves from windows, trimming doors and windows, and installing the wallpaper! Crown molding was not one of them since I asked a friend to help me.

Without further ado, let me show you the final result, and you can find a budget breakdown below.

Budget breakdown

Mattress - we already had it

Bed frame - $900

Canopy - $130

IKEA dresser (FBMP find - $150)

Nightstands - (also FBMP find - $70 for both)

Rug - $300

Curtain rod - $40

Curtains - $110

Curtains rings $9

Curtain holders - $25

Paint - 2 cans ($65 each)

Wallpaper - $750

Crown - $250

Molding - $140

Bow hooks - $30

Bow knobs - $20

Golden knobs (I already had them)

Bunny lamp - $240

Paintings - (thrifted) - probably around $60

Total: $3345

I hope I'm not forgetting anything. If I hired out to renovate this whole room, it would be probably an additional $3000 to finish it. So yay for DIY! Let's tackle other rooms in the house!

xo,

April
