EUCALYPTUS COFFEE SCRUB - Natural, Cheap and it Works!

FacebookPinPrintEmail

coffee scrubA cup of coffee get you going in the morning, a coffee-based body scrub can do wonders to your skin. Coffee is a natural exfoliant and exfoliating is one of the most important beautification elements. It helps to prevent acne, removes dead skin cells and exposes fresh, soft skin. This scrub is made of 4 ingredients: ground coffee, coconut oil, brown sugar, and eucalyptus oil. Let's talk about the benefits.

Coffee
is rich in antioxidants, making it an amazing anti-inflammatory ingredient. It acts as a mild exfoliant, removing dry skin and makes it feel silky smooth.

Coconut oil is incredibly moisturizing and filled with vitamins and minerals that nourish your skin.

Brown Sugar acts as a second exfoliant in this scrub. Brown sugar is more gentle than white and ideal for sensitive skin.

Eucalyptus Oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits and effective in preventive acne. It also smells delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Ground Coffee
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼-1/2 cup Coconut Oil
  • 20 drops Eucalyptus Oil

To make this scrub combine all the ingredients. If your coconut oil is solid then melt it and wait till it's room temperature. Based on the consistency that you want, add more or less coconut oil. Once mixed, store it in an air-tight container.

Tip: Don't use coffee scrub on dry skin. When you're done, gently pat your skin with a towel, do not rub.

This scrub can be used in the shower as part of your morning routine, but also you can use it in the Russian Spa. I already wrote on my blog about Banya's benefits and why it is the best way to detox and relax. Enjoy it!

What's your favorite way to relax and rejuvenate your skin? Let me know what you think of this scrub in the comments.

xoxo,

April
