Building outdoor furniture for screened-in-porch | One Room Challenge. Week 6

FacebookPinPrintEmail

If you are new to my blog, I'm participating in the One Room Challenge and doing a makeover of my screened-in-porch.

You can read week-by-week progress clicking by links below.

Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5

There is still so much left to do, but let's talk about the progress. In the past week, I've created plans for an outdoor sectional sofa, started making that said sofa, and almost finished the DIY tile coffee table.

For the sofa I chose to make a dupe of West Elm outdoor sectional couch from 2x4s. I'm building it from scratch using my own plans ๐Ÿ™‚ I'll share plans with you when I'm done ๐Ÿ™‚

Isn't it amazing? I love everything about it besides the price ๐Ÿ˜€

The weather hasn't been cooperating so I couldn't paint the walls, but hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to do it. Once it's done, I can finish changing the screens for the windows and change the door.

The progress with a DIY outdoor sofa is going strong and I almost finished the first part of the sectional.

I got these blue denim outdoor cushions and they are perfect for this screened-in-porch setup! I got them from Home Depot and they were sold there at an unbeatable price.

Still a lot to do, but progress what counts ๐Ÿ˜‰

The tile table is also currently drying. A lot of DIY in progress.

I can't wait to see how the final result will look like!

When I'm done with the screened--in-porch renovation, I'll make sure to write full tutorial blog posts about how to make an outdoor sofa to fit your space and how to DIY a viral TikTok tile table. Stay tuned!

I still didn't find a dresser or an entryway table to complete the look but I'm hopeful something will come up in the next week!

I'm so excited about finale! It will be so much fun!!!

xoxo,

April
