Fall is almost here! It is such an exciting time of year when you can enjoy pumpkin patches, Halloween, hayrides, and more. My daughters love this time of year. Our favorite fall activities are apple picking and crafts with fallen leaves.
It has become a family tradition for us to travel to Vermont in the fall to enjoy the beautiful scenery and seasonal events.
One of the greatest things about fall is all the decorations! Knowing me, I am a fan of all the DIY fall decor 😉

#1 Cheap and Easy Dollar Store Fall Wreath

#2 Fall Porch Decor Pallet Pumpkins
While you’re already decorating your front door, how about adding adorable pumpkins that are easy to make. Leanna, at Pretty DIY Home, teaches you exactly how to use old wood pallets to make adorable fall-themed porch decor.
#3 Scrap Wood Pumpkins
Another thrifty project to make with unwanted wood are these adorable scrap wood pumpkins. If you don’t have pallets for pumpkins, you can still make adorable wood pumpkin decor with scrap pieces of wood!

Nothing screams fall more than sitting by a fireplace, drinking warm apple cider, and reading a book – which is why this fall mantel book display is perfect for the season!
I grabbed some old books from Goodwill (you can use cheap books from yard sales or eBay), and I created this display with a wooden plank! And it will make your mantel look much better than having a tv over your fireplace!

Painting fresh pumpkins is easy to do and a fun activity for kids (as long as you’re brave enough to let your kiddos play with paint) – I teach you how to prep the pumpkins to create awesome fall mantel decor!
Real pumpkins are beautiful as they are, but it is so much fun to add different colors to them to create a beautiful look. I had a few learning curves along the way, but learned to paint pumpkins to perfection!
